Home School Agreement

At St Thomas' Primary School we continue to build a strong partnership between staff, parents and carers as we know this is important in helping children to achieve and to enjoy learning. We are determined to create an inclusive culture of learning where all children will be challenged in their thinking, to achieve to the best of their abilities and strive to become lifelong learners.

We will empower our children to become respected citizens to enable them to make valuable contributions locally, globally and to contribute to our world’s sustainable future.

This can be done most effectively when all staff, parents and children understand their responsibilities and work together towards the same goals, as detailed in our home school agreement (below)

School Ethos

Barrowford St Thomas' CE Primary school is a church school with a strong Christian ethos.

Our Vision

At Barrowford St Thomas our vision is that pupils will have a positive experience and understanding of Christianity, developing their own spirituality.

They will feel accepted, loved, valued, respected and secure.

Through a rich and creative curriculum, our pupils will flourish, deepening their knowledge and developing their skills and enthusiasm for life-long learning.

Psalm 92 vs 13-14

'They are like trees planted in the house of the Lord that flourish in the temple of our God, that still bear fruit in old age and are always green and strong.'
