Netball

Our Y4/5/6 netball club takes place after school on Friday until 4.15pm. This club is free to parents.

Our netball coach, Mrs Lees (governor and netball coach), led the club for many years but needed to give up this role at the end of the spring term 2023.  We are extremely grateful to Mrs Lees for the fantastic work she did coaching our children. We are currently looking for a new coach but, in the meantime, the club is continuing, led by coaches from Sports Cool.

In the club there is a focus on learning netball skills and also playing matches. The children train to take part in competitive events out of school against other schools through Pendle Sports Partnership

League Matches 2022 - 23

In April 2023, we began playing league matches against other schools in the Pendle area. The first matches inform Pendle Sports Partnership which league we will be placed in. We were delighted that in our team won all of the first five matches!

League Matches 2021 - 22

In 2021 - 22 academic year we had great success in netball and came second overall in the small schools' league.
