DT Construction Club

Summer term 2023

A new after-school club ran after school on Mondays (3.15 – 4.15pm) during the first half of the summer term 2023. The DT construction club was led by our HLTA Mrs McQuillan, who is also our Design Technology subject leader. We recently purchased lots of new DT construction material thanks to a generous £1000 donation by FOSTS, including STEM materials such as the mechanics master sets.

The children had the opportunity to explore the DT construction equipment. For example, they worked together to create technical models. Using this equipment enhances our creativity and imagination while also teaching a variety of STEM principles.
