Here is some of the super work Zach, Henry and Lexi produced when they looked at this book. Lexi has been very fortunate to have a Gran with chickens so she sent in some photographs of them. One is of a hen sitting on her eggs and the other is of the Cockerel called Goldie. During this week we also worked on 2D and 3D shapes.
Just look at the work Jacob Berry and Luan have been doing. Jacob even had a friend who sent him a photograph of some recently hatched chickens. I can see that everyone has been working very hard on their writing. Keep it up! This week you also went off on a Shape Hunt too.
Look at some of the things we have been doing.
These are just a few of the other things you have been doing over the last few weeks.
Mad About Mini beasts!
Here is some of the super work Zach, Lexi, Luan, Jacob B, Daisy and Harrison produced when they looked at this book. Jacob has even built a Bug Hotel. I can see a sneaky snail making its way there!!
What the Ladybird Heard by Julia Donaldson
Here is some of the super work some of you produced when looking at this book. This week you did some super writing about the story and drew and labelled some maps. At the end of the week Mrs McQuillan asked you to collect some leaves and make some leaf animals from the story. The cows even wanted to know what Harrison was doing when he went collecting leaves!! Mrs McQuillan and I thought all of your leaf pictures were absolutely amazing!!
This week you looked at a variety of Traditional Tales including The Gingerbread Man, Goldilocks and the Three Bears and Jack and the Beanstalk. You also had a chance to read some alternative versions of the stories. Here is some of your amazing work and your delicious looking Gingerbread Men!! Yummy!!
